Handmade by blacksmiths in the Japanese city of Nanbu, these fire tongs, or Hibasami, are designed to catch charcoal when barbecuing. With a broad, firm handle and narrow ends, the tongs are delicate enough to give you the precision you need. The rough, cast iron material gives the tongs a feeling of solidity, and allows for excellent grip during use.
